Supporting our local school needs.
During the summer break, a special project was undertaken for a local Montessori school: creating bookshelves specifically designed to meet Montessori education needs. Collaboration with the school was essential to understanding their unique requirements and specifications for the bookshelves, ensuring that each classroom would have shelves perfectly tailored to their space.
A total of 24 bookshelves were crafted, varying from 3 to 4 tiers. The materials used included white birch plywood, poplar, and beech for the domino tenon joints, ensuring sturdy and long-lasting construction.
This project was not only a showcase of woodworking skills but also a chance to contribute to the learning environment of the Montessori students. The final result is something to be proud of, given the positive impact it will have on the school community.
Note: Rubio Monocat is a non-toxic plant based durable hardwax oil that enhances the color of hardwood tops and plywood sheets and protects their surface.
Custom Project
Customer came with design and request to make a raise up Coffee Table for their living room with Walnut wood.
